My last green tomatoes are slowly turning red. They don’t have that fresh, juicy garden-tomato taste, but they do taste like tomatoes, even though they look wrinkly-old. Sort of like me. I still have flavor even though my outer appearance isn’t as fresh and juicy as it used to be.
