My solarium has a dozen big ceramic flowerpots that come indoors for the winter. Right now, pink thunbergia, a vine in one of the flower pots, is climbing the walls and flowering.
Outdoors, snow covers the ground. Indoors, my solarium is super-heated with March sun; it’s a greenhouse in there.
When i feel like climbing the walls, it’s time for a break, time to go outdoors and take a walk–even if it is ten degrees.
Or i could go down to the solarium, lie down on the floor, pretend i’m at the beach, and drink in the beauty of pink thunbergia.
It feels so good to begin the day by reading one of your posts. Thank you.
